The songs in this book are popular 'oldies' and there are so many really beautiful ones. There were only a few that I didn't instantly recognize.The book says that these songs are 'Easy Piano' and they are easy if you're comfortable reading piano music and playing arpeggios and different rhythms. They really aren't that hard--and they don't require that you have long fingers or adult hands like some books--I just wouldn't recommend this to a beginning piano player. But the arpeggios and different rhythms do make the songs sound much fuller and very pretty without being too difficult. So if you've been playing piano for a while and you're looking for beautiful romantic tunes I do highly recommend this book. Even an advanced player (or a guitar player) could enjoy it because it also gives the chords (C, D, Am, etc.) above the piano notes so an advanced player could embellish the songs.
